108 Sacred Cows

108 sacred cows on cloth.

In Hindu tradition, 108 is completeness.
Wholeness without waste.

The cow is central to village life — giving,
sustenance, quiet dignity. They do not perform.
They do not ask. They simply exist and in
existing, sustain everything around them.

Hand-painted by Bajrang from Devmali,
a village in Rajasthan. Mineral pigments
on natural cloth, in the Phad tradition.
No stencils. No reprints.
The hand that made this was living
when it made it.
